What we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

- Details you give in our forms, such as your county, crop and harvest date
- Payment and transaction data (when applicable)

We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain and improve our products and services
- Process transactions and send related information
- Send technical notices, updates and support messages
- Respond to your comments and questions
- Send marketing communications (with your consent)
Keeping it safe
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it:
- Enquiries, booking requests and messages sent through our website forms: up to 2 years after our last contact with you, then we delete them.
- Customer records, agreements and payment records: while we work with you and for 5 years after, because Kenya's Tax Procedures Act, 2015 requires us to keep business records for that long.
- Drying records from our dryers, such as batch weights and moisture readings: while we work with you. After that we keep them only in a form that no longer identifies you.
When the period ends, we delete the information or make it anonymous.
Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:
- Be told how your personal information is used
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Object to all or part of our use of your personal information
- Have false or misleading information corrected
- Have false or misleading information deleted
- Receive your personal information in a format you can take to another service
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it
To use any of these rights, email info@itedasolutions.com. We reply within the time the Act and its regulations set. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (odpc.go.ke).
